I have this obsession with anything s’mores. I love it. I will get it in a fudge, ice cream, candy, dessert, you name it I love s’mores flavored treats! Brandens mom(aka Mana Jo) made these a long time ago for us and it has been a recipe I have loved for a long time. This is a recipe that is requested often times when we are invited somewhere. It’s as easy as rice krispy’s and so delicious! This one is a slam dunk for us and is SO easy to make!
Ingredients:
5 cups miniature marshmallows
1/3 c light karo syrup
6 Tbsp margarine or butter
1 1/2 c milk chocolate chips
1 tsp vanilla
8 cups Golden Grahams
1 cup miniature marshmallows
Instructions:
- Melt 5 cups marshmallows, the corn syrup, margarine, and chocolate chips in a 3 quart saucepan over low heat.
- Stir in vanilla.
- Pour over cereal in a large bowl.
- Mix quickly until completely coated with chocolate. Stir in 1 cup marshmallows.
- Make squares by pressing mixture evenly in buttered 9×13 inch pan (remember the trick: spray nonstick oil on your hands and press firmly)
Let stand at least one hour or refrigerate if a firmer bar is desired. Cut into 2 inch squares, makes 24 squares.
