Honey Butter

A couple of weeks ago I got a couple big containers of honey and wanted to use them up. I was trying to think of what to do with them and I had just made homemade rolls. BAM! It hit me! I needed to make honey butter! I started throwing things together and made the most delectable honey butter. We spread it on as thick and heavy as we could. it was just incredible. It was at that moment I knew this would be a staple in our house. Third batch now and I’ve gone through so much butter I can barely stand it. It’s amazing. It needs to be made in your kitchen.

There are very few things that are the staples in the Bingham house other than sprinkles and cotton candy 😂 but this one is now a staple and will probably be made every Sunday with dinner to get us through the week, its just that good. Just yesterday I had 3 rolls with honey butter. Goodbye healthy eating. It’s not horrible for you but should probably be eaten in moderation. Lol kidding

Okay you’re just wanting the recipe at this point. I’m sorry, here are the ingredients. It’s beyond simple, even your 10 year old could make this for you and help you in the kitchen.

Ingredients

2 sticks unsalted butter, at room temperature

1/4 cup honey

2 Tbsp powdered sugar

1/4 tsp sea salt

Instructions

  1. Let’s get the butter all whipped together first and then we’ll add the other ingredients. Place both sticks of butter into a bowl and beat with a mixer.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients and beat until completely mixed together. Scrape down the sides and to ensure everything is fully incorporated.
  3. Taste test and put into a cute bowl for serving.

To store, play in an airtight container. This can last on the counter for a couple of days, if it won’t be used as quickly place in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

This is such a delicious and easy recipe that everyone will love. I hope your family loves it as much as ours.
